Beloved grandmother, Amina, had to stop working when her sight started to deteriorate over a year ago. She had to rely on her family to support her and felt she had become a burden to them.
Hearing about a Sightsavers supported outreach centre on the radio, Amina's son-in-law took her to be examined where she was diagnosed with cataract in both eyes and referred for surgery.
After the operation, Amina cried with joy when she realised she could see again.
