In developing countries, women often face greater barriers in accessing eye care due to cultural, geographical, gender and cost related factors.

Your gift could help support our work developing eye care services for women and placing greater emphasis on the participation of girls with disabilities in mainstream education.

It could be used to support our lady health workers and provide rehabilitation to blind women like Baby, so they can live independently and have an improved quality of life.

"Thanks to my rehabilitation training I have been empowered" 37-year-old Baby Konuwa, Sierra Leone
