A child with low vision can really struggle in school if they don't have the suitable aids to help them see the blackboard or read text books.

Your gift could help a child keep up with their sighted classmates and give them the best possible chance of succeeding in school.

Saloum has had low vision since he was a small boy and had always struggled at school.

He used to sit at the front of the class to try and see the blackboard.

Now, with the help of his low vision telescope, he is able to particpate fully in class and his teacher is pleased with his progress.

"I like school now that I have my telescope. Before I didn't like it as I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class" 11-year-old Saloum Badjie, The Gambia

Education: Your gift helps visually impaired and blind children attend school - giving them a brighter, more independent future.
